Visitation Ministry

Under the umbrella of Compassion Ministries, the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish also offers ministry for the Sick and the Homebound called the Visitation Ministry.

 

The name for this ministry is derived from Mary visiting Elizabeth to minister to her while she carried Jesus in the tabernacle of her womb.

 

Eucharistic ministers to the sick and homebound carry on Mary’s ministry of bringing Jesus to those who are either temporarily or permanently confined at home, in hospitals or in long-term care centers.
